Minutes, hours, days fly by, often with little notice as I toil behind a desk. The world outside is in perpetual motion and I want to be part of every moment. I look out the window. Is it October already? What happened to September?
My camera is my seeing eye dog, my compass, my time machine, my mirror, my microscope, my art brush. It urges me to engage my senses, to tune in and to connect with everything around. It coaxes me to look within and beyond at the same time. It directs me to plan and visualize. It forces me to become a zen master. All so that I can capture those ephemeral moments in life, savor their values both bitter and sweet, and ultimately to share with the world.
