At 605 feet tall, this observation tower is a landmark of the Pacific Northwest and an icon of Seattle. It was built in the Seattle Center for the 1962 World's Fair. Presently (September 2017) it is undergoing a major remodel that will add a glass floor. A temporary construction platform is visible under the top observation deck.
