I watched this pair work in tandem to hunt down a duck over Drayton Harbour. They continued to pursue the duck until it was too tired to fly away. When it was in the water the larger eagle dove down and drowned it. Then proceeded to swim about 15 yards back to shore with its kill.

There's nothing unusual about goats except that we don't have goats in Lafayette. I woke up one morning and was treated to the sight of several hundred of them grazing in a field only 200 yards away from my house. I learned these goats were brought in temporarily to serve as environmentally friendly lawn mowers. It was certainly a pleasant change from the drone and smell of gas powered tractor mowers.
