    The Famous T&K Seafood

Chinatown Bangkok, Thailand There are two famous Chinese-Thai restaurants in Thailand known for their fresh seafood and dining al fresco. They are nicknamed Red and Green Seafood and are literally across the street from one another. The red restaurant (waiters wear red shirts) is formally named Lek & Rut Seafood; the green restaurant (waiters wear green shirts) shown here is formally named T&K Seafood. Both serve up similar menus and both are wildly popular.

    A Nice Place for Lunch

South of Bangkok along the coast. The food here was fabulous just like most restaurants I visited on this trip. Here the grilled prawns, crab fried rice and sautéed cabbage leaves were to die for. It was low tide as we ate and we watched people in the distance trudging through muck harvesting a type of sea worm which I learned is a delicacy. The meat is somewhat like razor clams you find in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S..
